How to play

How a murder night works

  1. 1

    Pick a mystery

Choose a story for 6 to 12 friends: a film launch, a wedding, a cricket final. Each one takes about two and a half hours.

  2. 2

    Send the invites

Type your guests' names. Each one gets a link with their character, a secret and what to wear. Nobody installs anything.

  3. 3

    Eat, lie, investigate

Your phone runs the night: it reads the script, keeps time and releases clues act by act. Guests read their secrets on their own phones.

  4. 4

    Accuse and reveal

Everyone names a killer. Then the big reveal, and awards for the best liar and the most wrongly accused.

Questions before the party

How many people do we need?

Between 6 and 12, depending on the story. Each story says how many it plays.

Does everyone need the app?

No. One person hosts from their phone. Guests open a link in WhatsApp or their browser.

Do we need internet?

Yes: every phone in the room needs Wi-Fi or data. Home Wi-Fi is perfect.

Is it in Bangla?

Yes. Every Bangladeshi story plays fully in Bangla or English, guest by guest.

Is it scary or gory?

No. It's a whodunit with jokes, gossip and gasps, not a horror night. Each story lists any sensitive themes.

What if someone can't come?

Some characters are optional, so the game still works if a guest drops out at the last minute.

Somebody at your table did it.
